USG eCampus Creates USG Resource Guide for Transitioning to Remote Instruction

To limit the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), University System of Georgia (USG) institutions transitioned to remote instruction in mid-March through the remainder of the spring 2020 semester. Institutions will continue with remote classes through the summer, with plans to resume on-campus operations in the fall. This safety precaution, along with several others (i.e., quarantine, social distancing, shelter-in-place, etc.) encouraged across the country and state, has resulted in an adjustment period for innovative e-learning formats. Chancellor's Learning Scholars 2020 Award Presented to USG eCampus

For the 2019-2020 academic year, eCampus was awarded $5,400  for the Chancellor’s Learning Scholars program. The funds will be used to obtain resources for the Faculty Learning Community. This year’s eCampus Chancellor’s Learning Scholars are Dr. Amy R. Austin, Dr. Sarah Kuck, and Dr. BethRené Roepnack. The purpose of the Chancellor’s program is to create and support a faculty support communities across the USG. The program will facilitate various educational communities, leading to innovation and change throughout Georgia's classrooms. Their design resembles a community environment offering small group (8-10) engagement opportunities for faculty to explore and discuss areas of interest.
